A&T Systems Receives Award from U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to Deliver Next Generation Wireless Services

Silver Spring, Maryland. May 13, 2013: A&T Systems, Inc. is pleased to announce a National Mobile Device and Services (NMDS) contract award from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. The contract encompasses smartphones, cell phones, mobile broadband devices, tablet computers, machine-to-machine (m2m) devices and associated services. It supports staff at VA medical centers, outpatient clinics, field, and program offices as well as other remote users dispersed throughout the 50 United States (US), District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands.

As an integrator and solution provider, A&T Systems offers a unique solution under the NMDS contract, whereby VA can procure competitive choices of devices and service plans from multiple carriers in the A&T Team including Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon, and Alaska Communications.  VA users can select the most cost effective  service that best meets the unique end-user and geographic requirements from across multiple carriers. With A&T Systems’ unique approach, this new contract provides VA a streamlined centralized vehicle for acquisition and management, and a single point of accountability for multiple carriers.

Importantly, the contract vehicle offers a single source for ordering, reporting, invoicing, and asset management with a team that is led by A&T Systems, a small business, and includes small disadvantaged (SDB), woman-owned (WOSB), veteran owned (VOSB), and service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses (SDVOSB).
